PRIVATE EVENT DIRECTOR TAMARIND GROUP RESTAURANTS

Growing up in the marshes of the low-country in Georgia, Donovan spent most of his days out in the boat with his family, by the pool with friends at the Yacht Club, or scooping ice cream at the young age of 14 for his first job. Donovan quickly noticed that treating guests with kindness, sincerity, and listening to their needs was what led to returning customers - Summer after Summer he saw familiar faces. This is where his affinity for hospitality grew and helped him to easily speak with anyone about anything, or as his mother puts it β€œhis gift for gab.”

In his adulthood he has enjoyed being able to adapt anywhere - living in beachside communities to mountainside towns, now calling Atlanta his home he seems to have found his passion in helping our guests create their own memories with our Private Dining & Catering Services. In his freetime he loves exploring the nature around Atlanta, finding a good coffee shop, or dining at that hole-in-the-wall restaurant others might not dare step foot in. 

 

LINDA BOUALAVONG

GENERAL MANAGER

A travel lover who collects shot glasses from her travel destinations, Linda Boualavong has worked with the Tamarind Group since 2020.

An industry veteran, Linda grew up in the restaurant and hospitality industry, having worked alongside her mother run their own restaurant, and worked for restaurants throughout Boston and Atlanta including, O-Ku, and the Hilton Hotels.

Linda lives south of Atlanta with three dogs and her family.
